BLT Salad
This is great for picnics or pot lucks! You can reduce the fat content by using turkey bacon and low fat or non fat mayonnaise.
1 lb. bacon
1 head of lettuce, chopped
2 boxes of croutons
1 pint of cherry tomatoes
2 1/2 cups of salad dressing
Salt and pepper to taste
Fry the bacon and drain the grease. Place lettuce in a large salad bowl. Cut the cherry tomatoes in half and add.
Crumble bacon and add. Add the salad dressing. Mix it all well. Add the crotons and toss. Place in the refrigerator for 1/2 an hour, then serve.
