Earthquake Cake
Ingredients:
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup shredded coconut
1 stick butter or margarine
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 box powdered sugar
1 box German chocolate cake mix
Preparation:
Grease and flour 13x9 cake pan. Put nuts and coconut in bottle of pan. Mix cake mix according to directions on box. Pour over mixture in pan. Melt butter. Add cream cheese and sugar to butter and blend with a mixer. Drop mixture on cake by spoonful. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees F. When cake is completely cool, top with whipped topping before serving. Keep refrigerated.
