Fisherman's Reef Hush Puppies
1 1/2 C yellow cornmeal
1/2 C flour
1 Tbsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
4 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. red pepper
3 Tbsp. buttermilk
3/4 C water
3 eggs, beaten
1 C onions, minced
Mix all ingredients thoroughly and form into 1 inch balls or drop by teaspoon and deep fry for approximately 2 minutes or until golden brown. Serve piping
hot with fried fish or barbequed meat. Makes 45 to 50. These are highly seasoned and are delicious!
