Ma's Pecan & Fig Pie
1 1/2 cups pecans
1/4 cup of fig preserves
3 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1/8 Tsp. of cinnamon
1/8 Tsp. allspice
1/8 Tsp. of nutmeg
1 Tbsp. Vanilla
1 Tbsp. corn starch
3/4 cup karo syrup
1/4 cup Louisiana cane syrup (if can not find in you store you can use the dark karo syrup)
1Deep 9- inch pie shell
In large mixing bowl, beat eggs until smooth. Add syrups, vanilla and mix well. Add pecans and fig preserves into mixture blend well. Add the rest of the ingredient mix; pour into the pie shell. Bake on cookie sheet in center of oven for 45 minutes. Let cool for 10-15 minutes and serve with vanilla ice cream.
