Minnesota Wild Rice Soup

1 lb. ground beef or venison
1 T. Italian seasoning
1/2 t. fresh ground black pepper
2 large onions, sliced
3 drops Tabasco sauce
3-10 1/2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1/2 t. salt
1 c. cooked wild rice
4 stalks celery, sliced
1 c. water
2 soup cans of water

In heavy 4-quart soup kettle, brown the beef with the salt and Italian seasoning, crumbling the meat as it cooks. Add the wild rice and water, Tabasco, pepper, celery, and onion. Simmer, while covered for about 30 minutes. Stir the soup water. Cover and simmer for another 30 minutes.
