Skillet Lasagna

1 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion, chopped (1/2 C)
1 med. green bell pepper, chopped (1 C)
3 C uncooked mini lasagna noodles (6 oz.)
2 1/2 C water
1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 30 oz. jar spaghetti sauce
1 4.5 oz. jar sliced mushrooms, drained

Cook beef, onion and bell pepper in 12 inch skillet or Dutch oven over med.-high heat about 6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain. Stir in remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally; reduce heat to low. Simmer, uncovered, 10 to 12 minutes or until pasta is tender.
