BLUE CHEESE BURGERS
1 pound ground chuck
1/2 cup uncooked quick-cooking oats
1 large egg, lightly beaten
1 tablespoon dried onion flakes
2 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
4 hamburger buns, toasted
4 lettuce leaves
4 tomato slices
COMBINE first 4 ingredients, mixing well. Shape into 8 thin patties. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon cheese in the center of each of 4 patties. Top with remaining patties; press edges together to seal.
PLACE prepared patties in a grill basket coated with cooking spray.
GRILL, covered with grill lid, over medium-high heat (350° to 400°) 6 minutes on each side or until beef is no longer pink. (Grill lid will not close completely.) Serve on buns with lettuce and tomato.
